La Paz County Detention Facility (LPCSO) is a county jail for La Paz County Sheriff's Office at 1109 W Arizona Ave, Parker, AZ, 8534. It serves as a safe and secure holding facility for adult offenders accused of violating local and state laws in Arizona. The inmates reside at the county jail while awaiting a trial, court hearing, sentencing, and transfer to other detention facilities or serving their short sentences of less than one year.
LPCSO has a team of volunteers that offer their time to oversee various inmate programs, including A.A., N.A., anger management, G.E.D., bible studies, church services, and social programs. Each inmate program aims to rehabilitate the offenders and deter them from crime upon release.

Here, the county jail relies on a team of medical professionals to diagnose and treat vast medical conditions of inmates once they arrive at the county jail. Also, the county jail dispenses prescribed medication as per instructions from the Medical Staff. And a case manager and trained clinical technicians deal with non-emergency medical services.
Inmates at La Paz County Detention Facility have access to a commissary account. Through it, family and friends of the inmate can deposit funds to enable the inmate to buy additional personal items. There are telephone booths in all housing areas in the LPCSO. Here, inmates can make collect calls to their family members and friends as per an approved list. Likewise, inmates may use funds from their commissary accounts to pay for prepaid phone cards that they can use to pay for the calls.
